Each article to be published in our journal FUTURA is carefully copy-edited to increase readability and ensure that it is both readable to those in the field and understandable to scientists outside the immediate discipline.
While most readers are biologists or biochemists, only a very small number of them are specialists in your discipline. Before submitting the article, it might therefore be helpful to read it from the point of view of, for example, a postdoc from a very different field of biology.
FUTURA is an open-access journal distributed under the terms of the “Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities”. Copyright of text and figures thus remains with the authors or original copyright holders and may be used, reproduced, or disseminated in digital and print form, provided the original author(s) or copyright holder(s) and source FUTURA, Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds are credited.
